Young governors and trustees invited to virtual event on progressing into board leadership

The Young Governors’ Network is pleased to announce a new virtual event ‘Progressing into Board Leadership’ for School Governors and Trustees aged under 40.

Taking place on Tuesday 14 July at 5pm, this session (led by the National Governance Association) will help you to find out what is involved in a chairing role (including committee chairs and vice-chairs), explore the qualities a chair needs, and look at how to develop the confidence to step up and progress.

Moving into a chairing role on your governing board is a great professional development opportunity that will benefit your leadership skills and insight. The board will also benefit from the unique set of skills and approaches you could bring to the role.

Register for your free ticket at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/young-governors-network-virtual-event-board-leadership-tickets-110755035292 and you will receive the Zoom link shortly before the event
