South Yorkshire Futures

Have you ever thought about becoming a school governor, but didn’t know how?  Do you want to find out more about what the role entails?

We have partnered with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) to help inspire more local businesses and employees across South Yorkshire to actively encourage and support their staff to take up school governor roles.

The campaign started as a result of SHU’s ambition to be at the heart of the South Yorkshire community and the South Yorkshire Futures regional social mobility programme to raise aspirations and attainment in the region.  As a team, we hope to reach out to businesses of all shapes and sizes, and to individuals at all stages of their career.
