School governors: have your say about ESFA advice on data

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) are reviewing their 2018 publication ‘Understanding your data; a guide for school governors and academy trustees’ and looking for governors and trustees to fill out a short survey help with their review by 19th March 2019.

ESFA are reviewing the ‘Understanding your data’ resource to evaluate areas for improvement and are running a survey to seek your feedback on:

  • the users of this resourcehow the resource is used
  • if the key themes are appropriate
  • the usefulness of the exception reports and case-studies
  • if the ‘Understanding your data’ resource has changed the way performance is evaluated within your school or academy trust

The survey only takes 10 minutes and is completely confidential. This is a unique opportunity for you, as governors and trustees, to have your say and ensure that government publications designed to help with school governance are doing just that!
