It’s national Volunteers’ Week and we want to celebrate and thank every one of the quarter of a million people who give their time freely to help ensure pupils in state schools achieve.

In celebration of Volunteers’ Week the National Governance Association, the Association of School and College Leaders and the National Association of Head Teachers have published a joint letter to thank school governors and trustees for their remarkable contribution to education.
